shiza, they're my family, man!

really happy i got to see passing strange one more time before it closes sunday. i'm not worried. spike lee should do a wonderful job of catching the live feeling on film...of course, nothing's better than being there seeing it breathe and unfold before you.

it is not just because he was the only one i knew in the company, but james smith was the best part about the show last night. not only does he pour his heart and soul into all of his life's work, but he is the most charming person i've ever met [insert salt n pepa's whatta man lyrics here].

and last but certainly not least, august 3rd, i will finally be able to attend a johnny solo show after unwillingly missing out on the last 3-4 he's had over the past year. it makes me happy to see that one of the pictures i took of him is being used on his page on the joe's site.
